Anna’s Review

I’ll start by saying that I loved this book and I can hardly wait for book two of the series.  I’ve read a number of mfm romances with bdsm elements, but I’ve never read one like Playing the Game.  At this point I’m sure you’re wondering what makes this book so special.  Well let’s be honest, erotica often suffers from tedious or silly plots and as you read you’re just biding your time to get to the next steamy scene.

In Playing the Game, M.Q. Barber actually uses her sex scenes to provide character insight and develop the relationship between the trio.  While you’re caught up reading about the erotic interaction between Alice, Jay and Henry you’re also learning more about each one of them and witnessing their bond becoming stronger.   Henry is the dominant in the relationship and I became fascinated with what he was going to do next.  I will note that although the Jay and Henry have an occasional intimate moment the focus of the story is on Alice’s pleasure.

This is a sizzling read intertwined with a very intriguing romance.  Keep them coming M.Q Barber!
